Getting Together Down Below
Olympic National Park, Washington
Sol Duc Falls lies in the NW part of Olympic National Park. This waterfall is attractive because of the rocks that split the river into several sections as it plunges to the channel below. The hardest part in getting this photo was to find a moment when the plants in the foreground weren't waving in the wind caused by the plunging water. Photo © copyright by Stephen Penland.
