Orting, Washington
A verterans' cemetery in Orting, Washington (SE of Seattle) dates back to the Spanish-American War and is still in use. Several lines of tombstones arc across the hillside, and in certain seasons flowers add to the atmosphere of permanance overlaid with change. Photo © copyright by Stephen Penland.
