Cold Seat
Olympia, Washington
A snow storm in Olympia, Washington, has covered a bench near the state capitol. Snow is not very common in Olympia; most of the precipitation comes as rain. When snow does come, it's a delight to photograph.
If I had this to do over again, I would walk to the bench and sit down, and then carefully walk away by stepping in my previous footprints. Then the mystery would begin: footprints lead to the bench, but none lead away -- was it an abduction by a flying saucer?
